All art prints from our gallery are giclée printed either on enhanced matte art paper (200g) or Hahnemühle German Etching (310g).

Enhanced matte art paper is the best choice for premium fine art prints. This heavyweight 200g fine art stock has a smooth, clean finish and natural white tone that stays beautifully consistent – ideal for photography, graphics and illustrations. The matte surface removes glare and enhances highlights and tones for a crisp, galleryready look.
The alternative is Hahnemühle German Etching, with 310g a heavyweight, velvety matte paper with a slightly more pronounced texture. Its warm white tone and softly etched surface give it a tactile, hand-crafted quality that enhances depth and contrast.
If you intend frame this art print, we recommend to not use the glass and enjoy this luxurious paper unfiltered.

All of our fine art prints are made using Giclee printing – the gold standard used by museums and galleries worldwide. Pigment-based archival inks deliver smoother gradients, richer colour depth and longlasting brilliance that won’t fade when displayed indoors.

You’ve probably noticed that the colors in Casa Color Studio art prints are selected with great precision and carefully calibrated. This enables our printing facilities to produce results with tremendous vibrancy. How this appears on your screen depends on the device you’re using. Due to the calibration differences between computer monitors, tablets, smartphones etc., the colors of our art prints and frames shown on our website may vary slightly from the actual art prints and frames.

No, all art prints available at Casa Color Studio are sold exclusively through our online store.

Yes, frames can be added as an optional extra to any art print. At the moment, we offer classic wooden frames in black. We find that these complement our designs best. The sizes currently available are: DIN A1, DIN A2 and DIN A3. All frames are always dispatched with a Perspex protective cover – however, we recommend, where the setting allows, that you do not use the Perspex, particularly with Hahnemühle German Etching paper, as this allows its surface texture to stand out more effectively.

All frames have a 1.5 mm thick acrylic glass front – it is lightweight, robust and can be easily hung on almost any wall. The brand name is PERSPEX®.

All frames have two brackets on their back so you can easily hang them either vertically or horizontally depending on your preference. All our sizes come with a Cobra hook.
We advise using screws and plugs that are suitable for your specific wall.

Note: We strongly advise against hanging the frame directly from the frame timber. This can cause the frame to warp.

Unfortunately, no. As we tailor each art print individually to the original proportions, we only offer it in the sizes listed on our website.

Our art prints are printed at the print shop closest to the customer's address to minimize the shipping costs. This is assigned automatically and cannot be changed.

The word “Giclée” is French for “sprayed ink.” Today, the term is used to describe a sophisticated inkjet printmaking process which creates the highest quality fine art reproductions.

All of our art prints are manufactured in this way. Giclée printing offers extra-fine image resolution, helping retain a higher degree of detail from the original fine art or photographic images.

A lot of research and development has gone into the various aspects and materials that make up a Giclée print. 
The archival nature of the print varies according to the type of inks used, as well as the archival properties of your chosen paper selected and the conditions in which the print is displayed or stored. Current scientific lab reports suggested that our recommended papers and Giclée printing process will produce a print that lasts between 100-200 years in optimal conditions.

Please note any print located in direct sunlight is still likely to fade over time.

Within Europe, plain art prints are dispatched from the Netherlands.

Delivery times for these are approximately 3–6 working days.

Framed art prints are dispatched from the UK and take longer, as the prints are framed by hand. You should allow 10–14 working days for these.

If you purchase an art print without a frame, it will be dispatched in a sturdy protective tube. If you order framed art prints, these will be packed in a sturdy cardboard box.
